Privacy Policy

Debt Tracker is an offline-first app for tracking personal debts. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information You Add

You may add names, phone numbers, debt amounts, currencies, notes, repayment dates, payment records, preferences, and backup settings.

Local Storage

Debt records are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your debt records.

Backups

The app lets you export encrypted backup files. You choose where to save or share those files, such as Files, Google Drive, or another app. Anyone with access to a backup file and its password may be able to restore the data, so keep both private.

Feedback

If you choose to send feedback, the message, app version, platform, language, and time of submission may be sent to Firebase Realtime Database so we can review it. Do not include sensitive debt details in feedback messages.

Update Checks

The app may check a remote configuration value to determine whether a newer version is available. This does not send your debt records.

Notifications

If you enable repayment reminders, notifications are scheduled on your device for debt due dates. You can disable notifications in the app or your device settings.

App Lock

Optional app lock uses your device authentication, such as passcode, fingerprint, or Face ID. Debt Tracker does not receive or store your biometric data.

Sharing and Calls

When you share a debt summary or call a contact, that action is handled by your device and the app you choose. Review the privacy practices of any third-party app you use.

Data Sale

We do not sell your personal data.

Children

Debt Tracker is not directed to children under 13.
